   Solar Energy System Maintenance

Most often rain would do the job of cleaning your panels

Almost zero or little system maintenance

In some areas, such as close to busy dirt roads and urban areas, you may see a performance gain from cleaning the panels monthly

Hosing down the panels with water or a solution of PV panel cleaner will be sufficient

Do not walk on or over the panels to clean them

Do not use metal, hard or abrasive methods for cleaning

Do not spray water on the panels when they are very hot
